*“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”*
*John 16:33*

In Scripture, Jesus doesn’t promise a life free from difficulty. Hardship, grief, and emotional strain are an expected part of the human experience. As Pastor Ryan shared in opening the God of the Valley series, nobody wakes up choosing the valley. In the darkest seasons, when we find ourselves asking: “Why, Lord?” God often shifts our hearts toward a deeper question: “Who is with me?” God meets us through community, compassionate listening, and gospel-centered care.

Resonate’s Lay Counseling Ministry exists to provide a safe space where you can process life’s heaviest seasons, navigate anxiety, depression, or loss, and reconnect with the presence and restoration found in Jesus.

## Looking for Support? We’re Here to Walk Alongside You

Our lay counselors offer free, short-term, focused 1:1 care (both in person and virtually) tailored to help you process depression, anxiety, or grief and find spiritual restoration. If you or someone you know could benefit from a listening ear grounded in biblical truth and evidence-based care, we invite you to reach out. Every journey begins with a simple, confidential screening to ensure you receive the care you need and we can even provide referrals for professional care when needed.
