☀️ As summer begins, we’re encouraging families to slow down and connect more intentionally. Research shows that shared meals and quality time together boost kids’ emotional health, communication, and confidence. Small moments like a walk, cooking together, or a screen free game night can go a long way in helping kids feel known and loved.

RESkids families are growing together! We’ve been loving books like Family Discipleship and The Whole Brain Child as we learn how to intentionally disciple our kids and lead with grace, wisdom, and connection at home. We’re grateful to be a church that equips and encourages families to follow Jesus together in everyday moments.

This month, kids are learning that the Northern Kingdom repeatedly turned away from God to worship idols, even after He sent prophets to call them back. While Nineveh repented and received mercy, Israel refused to turn from sin, showing our need for a faithful Savior who rescues and restores hearts that wander from Him.
Key verse: You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him.
